For decades, I have continued to design aircraft using every technology that emerged. Pencil, airbrush, CAD, 3D, rendering, VR. Each new tool did not change the obsession. It expanded the experimentation.
McPecos became a testing ground. A place where ideas about flight, proportion, surface and identity could evolve freely before becoming real projects.
When I say, “I design airplanes,” people react. That reaction is the point. Because designing airplanes requires synthesis. Aerodynamics, proportion, structure, identity, performance. Nothing is decorative. Everything has consequence.
This is why I approach every object the same way. It does not matter if it is a pen, a sound system or a boat. I design airplanes that write. Airplanes that produce sound. Airplanes that navigate water.
Being designed by someone who designs aircraft is not a detail. It is a structural advantage. The discipline of flight applied to any form creates tension, clarity and character.
That is what McPecos represents. A continuous laboratory of flying thinking. Rooted in flight. Applied everywhere.
THE BOOK
After decades of sketches and self-initiated 3D explorations, I decided to gather the world I have imagined into a single book. A collection of aircraft that never existed, concepts that anticipated reality, and machines born purely from curiosity and discipline.
McPecos has always been a laboratory of possibility. Now it is becoming a tangible archive.
Stay tuned.
