Ciao!

I am an Italian designer with over four decades of experience across aviation, automotive, marine, and high-end product design.

Aircraft is my native language.
I design aircraft first and I apply the essence of flight to everything I create.

My work spans complete aircraft, cars and boats concepts, performance-driven liveries and visual identities, as well as cross-industry projects where engineering and aesthetics must operate as one coherent system.

I specialize in the moment when an idea stops being a sketch and begins confronting structure, certification, manufacturing, and real-world constraints. That is where design becomes serious.

Modena, Italy

I was born and raised in Modena, in the heart of Italy’s Motor Valley. Growing up surrounded by Ferrari, Maserati, and Lamborghini meant that performance and design excellence were not abstract ideas. They were daily references. At the same time, I spent years at the local aeroclub studying aircraft up close. Ground speed and airspeed shaped my mindset early on.

There was no dedicated path to become an aircraft designer. So I built my own through continuous practice, experimentation, and direct application.

McPecos

McPecos is the nickname I gave myself when I was young and already thinking about building a brand. It became my personal laboratory.

The passion began with paper airplanes, science fiction, Japanese mecha culture and endless hours drawing flying machines that did not yet exist. What started as curiosity became obsession. What started as obsession became discipline.

Over the decades, I have produced thousands of sketches and concepts: aircraft that never existed, aircraft that later became real, objects designed as if they wanted to fly.

McPecos is not a portfolio. It is an ongoing archive of exploration. Every decade brought new tools. Pencil, airbrush, CAD, 3D modeling, rendering, VR. I adopted them all, but the focus remained the same: proportion, surface tension, identity and performance.

The quantity matters because it built instinct. The repetition built method. McPecos is where ideas are tested relentlessly before entering industrial scale. It is continuous R&D rooted in flight.

AircraftStudioDesign is the professional evolution of that laboratory. What began as independent experimentation matured into a structured methodology applied to certified aircraft programs, real clients, and complex industrial processes.

Through ASD, I operate at the intersection of concept design, engineering collaboration, and visual identity development.

More than 1000 projects have been developed across custom livery design, interior concepts, brand identity, and advanced conceptual design.

The common denominator is constant: Aviation-level discipline applied to design.

Over the years, I have collaborated with international brands, companies, and customers. My work has been applied to certified aircraft, competition machines, special editions, and cross-industry projects in automotive, marine, and high-end product sectors.

The mindset remains the same. Structure first. Identity aligned. Performance embedded in form.
